The Charity of Robert Phillips

About the Charity

The Charity of Robert Phillips was created in 1991, 50 years after the death of the man whose name it bears.

The Charity provides financial assistance to individuals, schools and organisations in the Ancient Parish of Walton on Thames (Walton, Hersham and part of Oatlands). This financial assistance is for the arts, music and drama.

The charity is registered in the UK with the Charity Commission (No. 1063312/0).

Funding decisions are made by six trustees. Three are appointed by Elmbridge Borough Council and three by Surrey County Council. The chairmanship changes annually and alternates between representatives of the two organisations.
